Deep Space 2 members attended to the Comiccon Gent 2017 Convention. Some went on Saterday, some went on Sunday, some went the entire weekend.
Comiccon Gent 2017 is a science fiction, fantasy, anime & comics convention in Belgium with the classic convention ingredients.
- around 100 dealers
- a crowd favorite: the cosplay competition
- the game zone with especially retro gaming, but also virtual reality gaming, and much more
- there were large screen screenings, Q&A sessions, chill out zones, grime sessions, and so much more
- artists signing, actors signing, photoshoots,
There were only a few Q&As so we did not go to all Q&As. These are (very short) the ones we went to.
Q&A Stanislav Yanevski
Stanislav Yanevski told us how he got the part in Harry Potter, which was a real boost of his acting carreer. When he got the role his mother did not believe him. His favourite characters were Voldemort and Sneep.
Since this year Comiccon is really going for it in Belgium. Next Comiccon is in Antwerp (Waagnatie, Rijnkaai 150, 2000 Antwerpen) September 23-24, 2017.
