Deep Space 2 members attended to the FACTS Fall edition 2017 Convention. Some went on Saterday, most went on Sunday, some went the entire weekend.
F.A.C.T.S. is the biggest science fiction, fantasy, anime & comics convention in the Benelux, since 2016 two times a year.
- a crowd favorite: the cosplay competition
- the game zone with a/o Game Mania, Nintendo, PS4, Ubisoft, Marvel, retro gaming, pinball machines, and much more
- there were large screen screenings, Q&A sessions, chill out zones, grime sessions, and so much more

Q&A
General remark about the Q&A reports: Some actors do not want to be filmed during a Q&A, pictures is OK. Some Actors come on stage. Visitors can take pictures for a few minutes and than have to stop using cameras. Some actors do not allow any filming or pictures of any kind. These rules apply for all conventions and they are respected by the visitors.
At conventions all actors talk about their work in the past, current and future. It is understandable they cannot speak about some future projects.
That is the reason we do not put all questions and answers here in this report. We respect the privacy of the actors/directors/producers who come to talk about their work.
We did not go to all Q&As. These are (very short) the ones we went to.
Q&A Brent Spiner
Brent was interactive, funny and pleasant. He was happy to come to Belgium and liked it very much.
Q&A Jared Gilmore
Jared is very popular with teenage girls. He started acting when he was 4 years old.
Q&A Karl Urban
Karl was a lot of fun. He told us the most pranks of all the guests. Karl gave away free tickets for his newest movie: Thor, Ragnarok.
Q&A Jenna Coleman
Most of this Q&A was done by an interviewer from Knack Focus Magazine, but there was also time for questions from the audiance. Most questions were about her work as Queen Victoria and of course Doctor Who.
Q&A Corin Nemec
Corin felt lucky he almost always had an acting job. But 100 auditions give 99 no and 1 yes...

This is the first time we have a Comiccon in Antwerp, Belgium, so it was not as big as the big brothers in Brussels and Gent (F.A.C.T.S.), but it was a nice science fiction, fantasy, anime & comics convention.

Q&A Michael Winslow
Michael Winslow has become famous for the special sounds he makes in the Police Academy Movies. He gave an extended demonstration of his talent and told us how it all began.

There were only a few Q&As so we did not go to all Q&As. These are (very short) the ones we went to.
Q&A Stanislav Yanevski
Stanislav Yanevski told us how he got the part in Harry Potter, which was a real boost of his acting carreer. When he got the role his mother did not believe him. His favourite characters were Voldemort and Sneep.
Since this year Comiccon is really going for it in Belgium. Next Comiccon is in Antwerp (Waagnatie, Rijnkaai 150, 2000 Antwerpen) September 23-24, 2017.

Q&A Spencer Wilding
Spencer is best known for his role as Darth Vader in Star Wars, but he also plays in Games of Thrones, Doctor Who and Guardians of the Galaxy among many other roles.
Spencer talked about his work and how he became an actor. About his upcoming work he couldn't say anything because he was not allowed to do so.
Q&A Nathan Fillion
Nathan is best known as Castle in the tv series Castle but next to many other roles he is most famous for science fiction fans for his role in Firefly.
Nathan told about his work, about scuba diving he does with his brother.
He also gave a list of things he would like to do as an actor. some of those he had already done, like "getting shot in a movie", "riding a horse in a movie",...
Q&A Kristian Nairn
Kristian is of course most famous for his role as Hodor in the tv series Game of thrones.
Kristian told about how heavy it was to carry his fellow actors around during the series. But most of all he is a professional DJ. He was the DJ during the FACTS party Saterday night.
Q&A Amanda Tapping
Amanda, most famous of her role in the Stargate series is also a very much wanted director. She told us about her work in Stargate, Sanctuary, Supernatural, but also in other series like Travelers which will start a second season very soon. Most of her future work she was not allowed to talk about.
